To move the items to the Trash folder on delete, follow these steps:
- Log into webmail
- Hover your mouse over the Settings icon (a cogwheel icon) in the menu at the top of the screen
- In the drop down menu that appears, hover your mouse over the "Preferences" menu item, then click the "Mail" menu item in the sub-menu that appears
- Under the "Message" category, click "Deleting and Moving Messages"
- In the configuration options, check the "Move deleted messages to your Trash mailbox instead of marking them as deleted in the current mailbox?" item
- Click "Save"
You will then be given the option to configure the settings for the Trash folder. Make any changes you would like to make and click "Save".
Please note, you may set the Trash folder to automatically delete items on a regular basis, however this can be achieved through your mail program. WebClick recommends being very careful with his option, as items that are deleted from the server are permanantly removed and cannot be retrieved.
