Steps to take when the Name Servers for a domain are not managed by WebClick

When the name servers for a domain are not pointed to WebClick, but certain services are left enabled, issues are likely to occur as a result of internal DNS routing on Plesk being prioritised.

The most common complication that arises is when a website is hosted with WebClick and the DNS and mail services are served by a third party. When the DNS and mail services are not disabled in Plesk, the website sends all mail sent from the website to the internal Plesk mail service to handle and the mail to never routed to the external server.

To prevent this, you must disable the DNS and mail services.
